Las Vegas Neil Diamond Tribute Show

Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds Neil Diamond Tribute” Neil Diamond tribute Las Vegas residency CONTINUES ON in the “Modern Showrooms Las Vegas” at ALEXIS PARK HOTEL.

Music icon Neil Diamond is one of the best-selling and most iconic singer/songwriters in rock and pop music history.

More than just being one of the best-selling and most successful live artists ever, he’s also created and performed the soundtrack of our lives — including some of the most unforgettable songs on the planet.

In the beginning of 2018, shortly before his 77th birthday, Neil Diamond announced his retirement from performing after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

However, Diamond’s live performance legacy continues to be celebrated for audiences worldwide through Las Vegas entertainer Rob Garrett, widely regarded as the top Neil Diamond tribute artist.

Ask Google “who is America’s number one Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll hear the same name.

Like his legendary counterpart, Rob Garrett was born in Brooklyn, NY.

In the spring of 1974, his parents brought him from New York City to the Las Vegas Valley, where, two years later, he witnessed his first live Neil Diamond show when Diamond debuted in Las Vegas to record crowds at the Aladdin Hotel’s “Theater for the Performing Arts” in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him multiple times across the country—right up until Diamond’s final U.S. concert at the LA Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett started his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a long and successful run in Las Vegas and across the nation before deciding to move from lead singer of a cover band to a full-time tribute performer dedicated to one of his childhood heroes.

In 1995, Garrett was selected by Paul Revere (of The Raiders) to portray Neil Diamond in the world-famous “Legends in Concert” review.

What was meant to be a three-month trial turned into a three-year residency.

By August 1998, Garrett returned home to Las Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another two years before deciding to launch his own show.

He began a steady touring schedule, building a devoted fan base along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds Las Vegas.”

He continues to perform to sold-out venues nationwide, often in venues fit for superstars.

Garrett has also won numerous awards, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since Neil Diamond retired, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19, 2025 officially Rob Garrett Neil Diamond Tribute Show Las Vegas discount tickets proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating Rob’s 50 years as a Las Vegas resident and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in 2025, Garrett celebrates 45 years as an active Las Vegas entertainer, with the last 30 years devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has played in more Vegas rooms than any peer.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the only continuous Neil Diamond tribute in the U.S..

Alexis Park Resort Hotel is located at 375 E. Harmon Ave., just ¼ mile west of Paradise Rd..
